Plett Food and Film

Plett Food & Film (29 June- 6 July) is another exciting event on The Plett ARTS Festival calendar. It focuses on showcasing wonderful cuisine and top notch entertainment. This year, two films will be featured – Pollock and Frida – and chefs will retell the stories of the highlighted feature films through food. They will prepare delicious meals that feature some of the finest local ingredients, creating a unique dining experience. Book your tickets in good time.

Knysna Oyster Festival

An absolute highlight of the year, The Knysna Oyster Festival is happening between 29 June – 8 July. The programme is as good as ever with the marathon, oyster festival and cycle tour being some of the key events and more than 100 activities spread over ten days. There will be no shortage of fun and it’s designed for the entire family. Stay with us The Old Rectory Hotel & Spa and pick and choose the events you’d love to join in on.

The Greenpop Festival of Action

During June and July each year, The Greenpop Festival of Action brings people together from around the globe to learn, connect, give back and get active. For the past six years, this event has taken place in Zambia and for the first time the Festival of Action is being hosted in the Eden District along the Garden Route from 23 June – 15 July. From planting trees and clearing alien vegetation to setting up recycling systems and celebrating with live music – there is something for everyone!
