The Test Kitchen

The Test Kitchen celebrates acclaimed Chef Luke Dale-Roberts’ most creative cooking – items on the menu include Blesbok Tartare, Smoked Scallop Sashimi, and King Crab and Trout Panna Cotta. The restaurant won the best restaurant in Africa and the 50th best restaurant in the world at 2018 The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards. It is certainly worthy of being on your Cape Town bucket list but make sure to book ahead as the waiting period can be up to three months!

The Pot luck Club

The Pot Luck Club, another Luke Dale-Roberts’ hotspot, is thought to be one of the coolest places to be in Cape Town. The vibe? Innovative food that focuses on sharing-plates, which are categorised into five flavour profiles: salty, sour, bitter, sweet and umami. The restaurant is situated in a relaxed yet stylish setting at the top of the Silo Building at the Biscuit Mill.

The Shortmarket Club

Unique design, a relaxing atmosphere, sumptuous luxury and out-of-this-world food – all phrases that can be used to describe The Shortmarket Club. Situated in the heart of Cape Town’s bustling city, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner here.
